I made this fan art for Daniel Alarcón's first art book: Rara Avis. The Art of Daniel Alarcón It's based on 'Thirsty' It wasn't planned for Halloween, but it totally ended up working out for it, so Happy Halloween everyone!
Hará cosa de un mes recibí una propuesta la mar de interesante. Daniel Alarcón me pidió una colaboración para su libro Rara Avis. The Art of Daniel Alarcón. More related artworks:
Well this Lady strikes all the right cords in what many people expect in a Vampire.Deadly, beautiful,a wonderful knowing look on her face that tell's us how powerless we all are. The Valentines on her stocking's are a lovely touch.Contrasting with vivid colour against both the lighter fabric and her fair skin. And the implications of love and tendernous, competing with the reality that this a predatory creature who would rip our heart out and eat it before we finished sighing at her beauty. The bloody trail from the luscious mouth to provocative breasts simply finishes the image with a flourish. Wonderful work.
There is one thing symbolic, realistic but would probably turn people off. A vampire with a rounder belly from the blood. I am glad to see no obvious ribs. The eyes are wonderful they have almost a metallic cast to them, lets say steel. Working without high cheek bones definitely give her a departure from traditional. Thank you for not giving her fangs. How is the lipstick unblemished. Arched eye brow nice. I am stuck on the bangs. Longer hair in front would make it harder would impair biting. The proportion is fabuloso. The breasts are really well sized. The hearts on the stockings are grotesque because she appears to be an accomplished at killing by sucking out the blood from victims and has an innocent look like a little girl mightwear them, troubling
